Connect

Objective: Build a trusting relationship and understand the individual’s needs and cultural context.

    • Active Listening: Listen actively to understand their concerns, preferences, and any cultural nuances that may affect their needs.
  2. Cultural Sensitivity:
    • Respect and Empathy: Show respect for their cultural background and demonstrate empathy.
    • Personalized Approach: Adapt your communication and support approach to align with their cultural values and communication styles.
  3. Needs Assessment:
    • Gather Information: Ask open-ended questions to identify their specific needs, challenges, and goals.
    • Cultural Context: Understand any cultural factors that might influence their needs or how they interact with services.

Objective: Provide tailored support and guidance based on the individual’s needs.

  1. Resource Navigation:

  2. Direct Support:

  3. Emotional Support:

Objective: Facilitate connections to additional services and agencies that can provide further support.
